This weekend marked the third time I have participated in ZestFest, the annual fundraiser for FeedMore. Many of you know this is my “pet” charity. FeedMore provides countless meals to many in need in our great city. The idea of anyone going hungry truly resonates with most chefs.
And our city’s own Jason Alley of Comfort and Pasture has really stepped up to address this issue with his most recent announcement. Comfort will begin donating 100% of its profits to FeedMore!

How amazing is that?!
As chefs, we learn early on to let nothing go to waste. We utilize every part of every ingredient, both vegetables and animal proteins. We see the value of what we have and honor it.
